E.L. Gross Construction is built on a foundation of family, craftsmanship, and commitment. Edward Gross, the founder and hands-on leader of the company, is a second-generation mason with roots that stretch back to 1975, when he began learning the trade from his father in Southern California. From the start, Edward understood that great masonry is about more than bricks and concrete - it's about integrity, respect, and doing things right the first time.

In 1996, after years of hands-on experience and earning his own business license, Edward launched E.L. Gross Construction in Redding, California. He spent years splitting his time between Southern and Northern California, developing a reputation for being not only a highly skilled craftsman, but also a professional who’s dependable, fair, and easy to work with. In 2024, Edward returned to Redding full-time to focus his energy on serving the local community and growing his crew.

What sets Edward apart isn’t just his technical expertise - though you’ll find plenty of that in every brick patio, concrete driveway, or stone walkway he installs. It’s his old-school work ethic and personal approach to every project. He shows up on time, communicates clearly, respects your home and your neighbors, and treats every job like it’s his own property. That’s why most of his business comes from referrals and repeat clients who know they’re in good hands.
